![]() Qualcomm Atheros Inc., the networking and connectivity subsidiary of Qualcomm Incorporated (NASDAQ: QCOM), announced today the launch of its 802.11ac Wi-Fi ecosystem. Qualcomm Atheros Launches 802.11ac Product Ecosystem Is there any chance that these updates are related to the issues I've described? Are there more people experiencing such problems? Does anyone know of a workaround to get wifi working? How can we notify Microsoft of these issues? The only essential thing that has changed AFAIK are two major Windows updates, KB4537572 and KB4549951. I checked if the driver for the wireless card was up to date, uninstalled and reinstalled the wireless card and booted windows. Or, in Dutch, "Geen Wi-Fi-netwerken gevonden".Īlso, in Settings, the properties of the wireless adapter are "status: not operational". To clarify what I did: I accessed Action Center, established that wifi was enabled, clicked on Network and got the message "no wifi networks found". Because I didn't want to be stubborn I have power my router off and on again, but it didn't make a difference. I live in a block of flats where I can usually pick up dozens of signals. Of course, the troubleshooters suggest to disconnect the router, but I was convinced that wouldn't help. Until yesterday I didn't need wireless, but when I did again I found that it doesn't find ANY networks anymore. The wifi card is a Qualcomm Atheros AR9485 802.11bgn WiFi-adapter, which is enabled. ![]() ![]() However, I DID use wifi for testing purposes in March of 2020. On my HP Windows 10 Home PC build 1909 I mostly use ethernet, and more rarely wifi. ![]()
